Welcome to the 2025 Helsinki Residents' Mobility Habits Survey. The The purpose of the survey is to determine the mode of transportation distribution for internal trips within the city of Helsinki. The survey is commissioned by the City of Helsinki and conducted by Taloustutkimus Oy.
You have been randomly selected from the population register. No prior knowledge is required to participate. Your opinion is important to us.

We have obtained your information from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency's population register. Respondents are randomly selected from the register.
Everyone who has received this invitation can answer the survey. It takes about 15 minutes to complete. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can stop at any time if you wish.
You can answer the survey in Finnish, Swedish, English, Russian, Somali, or Arabic using a computer or mobile device. It is easiest for visually impaired individuals to use a mobile device.
The study provides insight into how residents of Helsinki travel—by foot, bicycle, public transport, private car, or other means. In addition to the mode of transport, the study examines the number and purpose of trips. The City of Helsinki uses the results to develop its transportation systems.
